The Principal of NQPSMichael Schauer, started with a small home office in an old Queenslander in North Ward in 1988. In 1996 North Queensland Psychology Services P/L moved to our new architectual designed, custom-made premises at the current address in 11 Bundock Street North Ward/ Townsville.

We pride ourselves to have created an office space that reflects friendliness and calmness with a sense of aesthetics in regards to colours, comfortable furniture and pieces of art. Our aim is to put our clients at ease, work holistically considering the whole person (body, soul and mind) in the most relaxing environment possible.

For many years the solo private practice has grown to a midsize group private practice with four very experienced psychologists and one mental health social worker. Together we offer a wide range of psychological and consultancy services.
